Infotainment and Technology Features
All trims have a 7-inch touchscreen display, while the high-end Touring trim comes with a 9-inch display equipped with navigation tools. It is also the only model offering a HomeLink remote system and Qi-compatible wireless charging. All trims have a Maintenance Minder system.
The Touring also comes standard with a Bose Premium audio system, 12 speakers and a subwoofer. The SiriusXM system is exclusive to the flagship model and has an HD radio and WiFi tethering. All models are compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth streaming radio and illuminated steering wheels with audio controls are also standard across the lineup.
Exterior Design
You can tell the Sport trim apart from the rest by its exclusive chrome tailpipe finisher. All models have LED headlights and tail lights, but only the Touring has LED fog lights. Speed-sensing windshield wipers are available in the EX and Sport trims, while the Touring comes with rain-sensing windshield wipers standard. All models have mirror-integrated LED turn signal indicators, except for the entry-level LX-B trim.
Interior Comfort and Cargo Space
The 2024 Civic is very comfortable, with fabric seats in the LX-B and EX trims, synthetic leather in the Sport, and leather-trimmed seating surfaces in the Touring. The rear seats are foldable across the entire lineup, providing more cargo space when needed. All models come with adjustable front seats, which are automatic for the Touring and manual for the rest.
Legroom and headroom are almost the same across the lineup, and the Touring has slightly less cargo volume: 408L compared to 419L for the others. The EX, Sport and Touring also are equipped with a dual-zone air conditioning system and illuminated vanity mirrors.
Performance Features
There are two engines available in the 2024 Civic: a 2.0-litre, 16-valve Port Injection engine that is standard for the LX-B, EX, and Sport trims; and a 1.5-litre, 16-valve Direct Injection Turbocharged engine, standard in the Touring trim.
The 2.0-litre engine delivers 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque, with fuel efficiency of 7.8L / 100 km in the city and 6.3L / 100 km on highways. If you’re looking for more power, the 1.5-litre is for you -- it delivers 180 horsepower and has a torque capacity of 177 lb-ft to go along with fuel efficiency of 7.6L / 100 km in the city and 6.1L / 100 km on highways.
Safety and Driver Assistance Features
The 2024 Civic has the same active and passive safety features throughout the lineup. All models are equipped with front, side, and rear airbags; childproof rear door locks; and lower anchors and tethers for children. Other standard features include four-wheel anti-lock brakes, electronic brake-force distribution, brake assist, and auto high beams.
Active safety systems include forward collision warning, collision mitigation brakes, vehicle stability control, hill start assist, road departure mitigation, and lane departure warning. Regarding driver assistance systems, adaptive cruise control, blindspot monitoring, traffic sign monitoring, and traffic jam assist are available for all models.
